Healthy and Nutritional Cooking Workshops for Mums

Together with the Western Sydney Local Health District and Mount Druitt TAFE, Western Sydney Primary Health Network have launched the Healthy and Nutritional Cooking Workshops for Mums. Participants from Western Sydney are invited to take part in this hands-on cooking workshop, learning how to make quick and healthy meals for their family on a small budget.

The workshops have already commenced with an average of 10 indigenous and non-indigenous mums attending each week and will run every Thursday for 10 weeks. To help support participants access the workshops, childcare and transport services are available.

Core Module Training

Earlier this month we transitioned to a new mode of delivery for training we provide to general practices within our region. Training for triage, infection control and sterilisation which includes the management of bodily fluid spills, will now be delivered via workshops.
