We hope all across the network have had an enjoyable, relaxing break and are now recharged for the year ahead.

Following 2016 highlight’s, WentWest will continue to work with local GPs on the progression of Patient Centred Medical Home principles across the region. More broadly, the Primary Health Network will work in partnership with consumers, carers and health professionals to identify and commission services within priority areas, Aboriginal Health, Alcohol & Other Drugs, Aged Care, Child & Family Health, Chronic & Complex Conditions, Mental Health and Population Health.

WentWest’s Immunisation Bike Competition

With just under two weeks to go until the WentWest Immunisation Bike Competition draws to a close, WentWest encourages all participating practices to follow up on any patients due for their 12 month, 18 month or 4 year old immunisations. WentWest will work with enrolled practices to entry forms and promotional materials throughout February. The competition winners will be drawn on Monday, 27th February and prizes will be presented at an event scheduled for mid-April. University of New England Research

The University of New England is undertaking research to understand General Practitioners’ experience in treating psychological injuries in NSW. Offering an honorarium of $250, each confidential interview would take between 45-60 minutes and can be undertaken face to face or via teleconference. For full details click here.
